Grace Wouters Huamanchumo
Grace Wouters Huamanchumo is a Peruvian entrepreneur and marketing specialist with over 10 years of experience in the global knitwear and fashion manufacturing industry. Based between the Netherlands and Peru, she brings a unique international perspective to every aspect of the business.
​
She holds a background in Advertising and Social Communication, complemented by postgraduate studies in Marketing, with deep expertise in strategic sourcing, pricing, eCommerce, retail operations, and international trade negotiations.
​
Grace is co-founder of Knit-Lab Peru, a Fair Trade Certified knitwear manufacturer and official licensee of Marca Perú, recognized for producing high-end knitwear for designers and fashion brands in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. Under her leadership, Knit-Lab Peru has been awarded Peruvian Company of the Year 2021, Fair Trade Certifications, Marca PERU licensee, 1st Place in Best Labor Practices 2024 by the Ministry of Labor, and holds a Carbon Footprint Measurement Certification.

Additionally, Grace has been recognized by international media and industry platforms such as Vogue Latin America, L’Officiel Mexico, ELLE Mexico, Latinoamerican Fashion Summit (LAFS), FashionUnited, Berlin Fashion Week, and UpNext Designer for her work in the Peruvian knitwear industry.
​
In 2025, she was invited by PROMPERÚ to deliver a masterclass on Peruvian textiles aboard the B.A.P. Unión in the Netherlands during the Sail Amsterdam event, highlighting the craftsmanship and heritage of Peru’s textile industry.

Driven by a purpose-led vision, Grace believes in business as a tool for social impact empowering artisans and building equitable, transparent supply chains through design and innovation.
